Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison faced an embarrassing situation on Wednesday after picking up a family photo his office staff adjusted to show both feet were left.
Morrison's picture with his wife and two children was to be the new official photograph of his personal site. But his assistants tried to adjust the picture so that he appeared wearing a clean white shoe that ended as if both feet were left.
This embarrassing error raised a great deal of ridicule on social networking sites.
A spokesman for the prime minister said Morrison's aides had modified the picture without his consent or even knowing it.
Morrison turned to Twitter in an attempt to contain the situation and joked that instead they could have condensed his light hair.
