He stated this at a meeting of the National Security Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, which broadcasts the TV channel "112 Ukraine".
“Now at 14:00 (Moscow time 15:00 - RT ) the martial law is terminated. This is my principal decision. It is based on all the components of the current security situation in the state, ”Poroshenko said.
Martial law was introduced on November 26 in ten regions (Vinnitsa, Lugansk, Nikolaev, Sumy, Odessa, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Kherson, Donetsk and Zaporizhia) and inland waters of the Azov-Kerch water area.
Poroshenko declared martial law, approved by the Verkhovna Rada, in connection with the incident in the Kerch Strait.
