Whether earthquakes, hurricanes or currently the forest fires in California - there are always thieves who want to beat the plight of other profit. One fact that makes former motocross pro Carey Hart so angry that singer Pink's husband instigates a dubious threat on Instagram: "Plunderers are shot on the ground," reads a photograph of a group of armed men ,

"It's unfortunate that some people are taking advantage of someone else's crisis," Hart writes. Criminals were seen who had broken into houses. "Well, if you're a raider, think twice about coming back to Malibu," it continues. The post provided the 43-year-old with the hashtag "Defend your country."

It's unfortunate that some people take advantage of others in a crisis. While the malibu fires have been burning, some locals have been fighting off and defending their property against the fires. There have been sightings of looters breaking into to homes. Well, if you are a looter, think twice if you are heading back into malibu. #DefendYourLand # 2ndamendment

Several media outlets, including USA Today, said Pink and Hart were among the tens of thousands who had to leave their home in Malibu because of the fire. The singer had already commented on the fires on Friday and thanked the firefighters on Twitter for their courage and selflessness.

THANKYOU to all of the firefighters. All of the first responders. All of the helpers. The thing to look for in tragedy is all the helpers. We're all so grateful for your bravery and selflessness.

The villas of several other celebrities burned down - including the houses of Gerard Butler, Miley Cyrus and Thomas Gottschalk.

For about a week, several thousand firefighters are in action to fight the flames in the north and south of California. US President Donald Trump spoke on Tuesday in Washington of devastating fires, as they have not yet existed. "We are mourning those who have lost their lives," he said in the White House. "We pray for the victims."

At the weekend, Trump had sparked outrage by commenting on the fires in California. He accused authorities of failing to manage forests and threatened to withdraw federal funds even as the forces fought the flames and denied residents their lives.
