The O'Naturel must shut down, as the founders announced. Founded over a year ago, the only nudist restaurant in Paris animated its visitors to move out but did not attract enough people.

"With great regret we announce the definitive closure of the O'Naturel restaurant," founders Mike and Stéphane Saada write on the website. According to the two brothers, February 16 is definitely over.

Until then, regulars and adventurers will have one last chance to explore the O'Naturel - the name means "natural". In the Gastrotempel in the bourgeois 12th Parisian district, guests must leave their clothes in a cabin in the entrance area.

In the Adam's or Evakostüm they can then informally feed snails, lobster or lamb fillet. Ladies can start their high heels, gentlemen get offered slippers, at least not to freeze on the feet. They were served by the Saada brothers, who appeared in the suit. Because service staff must be clothed under French law.

The restaurant of the Saada twins is only open in the evening, a table reservation is required. There are already "misplaced questions" on the phone and "some bad surprise" on the internet, Stéphane Saada said shortly after the opening. Such people are patiently told that they are in the wrong place. "Being naked does not necessarily have anything to do with sexuality," adds Mike.

The Parisian nudist association regretted the closure of the restaurant. Apparently it is still "too early" for such an offer, said Verbandsvize Cédric Amato, who counts according to own data to the regular guests of the O'Naturel. "After all, you do not pull out regularly to eat," he said. France is considered an Eldorado for nudists worldwide.
