The Bremen Regional Court found three men guilty of killing a 15-year-old Syrian refugee. Two 37 and 26-year-old Turks have to go behind bars for 12 years for manslaughter. A German-Armenian at the age of 16 received a youth sentence of six years.
The two brothers and their now 18-year-old nephew had the teenager on New Year's Eve 2016/17 at 0.20 clock in the Bremen district Blumenthal pressed and beat him. The teenager suffered severe head injuries. He had to be put into an artificial coma. A few days later, the teenager died.
