The son of Admiral Kolchak Rostislav in 1919, together with his mother, left Russia and went first to Romania, and then to France.

Alexander Rostislavovich Kolchak was born in 1933. Lived in Paris. He graduated from the Sorbonne, was a jazz musician, some time worked as a cartoonist in a French newspaper.
