After Johnny Hallyday, six rap stars dominate the ranking of the top 10 album sales in 2018, according to the annual top unveiled by Le Parisien Monday.

The big winner rap ... behind Johnny Hallyday. With 1,447,830 copies sold in 2018 (CD, vinyl, digital or streaming), Johnny Hallyday dominates the rankings with his album My country is love . Master Gims and his brother Dadju then follow with respectively 612,473 and 444,460 albums sold, according to Le Parisien . With Orelsan (3rd with 324,080 sales), Damso (4th, 260,983), Soprano (8th, 226,377) and Eddy de Pretto (9th, 222,838), rap is the big winner of this ranking.

Young artists are emerging. Kendji Girac is in 6th place with his album Amigo (254,437 copies sold), in front of Enfoirés 2018 Musique! (234 247). Finally, Mylène Farmer and Disobedience complete the Top 10 (222,700). In the rest of the rankings, we find Vlad in 12th place, Booba in 13th and Niska in 14th. The year 2018 also saw the emergence of new talent, as Le Parisien points out, like the Belgian Angèle (18th with 186,000 copies sold in three months) or Aya Nakamura, who sold 152,000 albums, scope by its tube "Dadja".
