According to the national mountain rescue service, at least five people have died in Italy when a small tourist plane and a helicopter collide. Two people were injured in the disaster on the Rutor Glacier in the Aosta Valley, tweeted the Italian mountain rescue service.

Four more helicopters with rescue workers were on their way to the accident site, it said. Details about the inmates and the cause were not known. Italian media reported that the helicopter was in use for heli-skiing in the Italian Alps.
