It is noted that the ash plume spread to 284 km east of the volcano towards the Pacific Ocean.
“There are no settlements on the way of the ash plume distribution,” the message indicated.
The Emergencies Ministry added that in the settlements of the Ust-Kamchatka region, no ash falls were recorded.
The volcano was assigned an "orange" aviation hazard code.
