Its center lies at a depth of 140 kilometers.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations added that the earthquake was not felt on the territory of settlements in the region.
Earlier, URA.RU reported that an earthquake of 4.4 magnitude occurred in the Chelyabinsk region.
