It is nice to jump on you puppy to greet you. But when a full-grown dog weighs 20 kilos and jumps on someone to say hi, it might be scary even for the most loving people.
This is because teaching a dog does not jump an important lesson.
Note that the dog should not be taught to jump up screaming and punishment.
One of the methods of teaching the dog this lesson is to use positive reinforcement by going down to the ground to greet the dog when he comes to you, and then give the dog a lot of hug on the ground.
If this method is not useful, there is another way to improve behavior by ignoring the dog; do not be attentive attention and play with him and no rewards or hug.
When the dog runs toward you, move away and do anything else. Then when the dog calms down a countered and alert him.
