Seth MacFarlane is known for his snappy humor. Also on the occasion of the unveiling of his star on the "Walk of Fame" he could not curb that. It was a special honor to be immortalized with great legends like Donald Trump, Kevin Spacey, Michael Jackson and Bill Cosby, MacFarlane joked.

Jackson, Spacey, and Cosby have repeatedly made headlines with allegations, investigations, and convictions related to sexual assault. The star of US President Trump, who received the badge in 2007 for his television programs, has been repeatedly damaged by political opponents.

MacFarlane said his star will be there forever - unless he becomes president and someone destroys the badge with a pickaxe.

MacFarlane is the creator of the snappy TV cartoon series "Family Guy" about a small town family. In 2013 he was on stage as an Oscar-host. In the TV science fiction series "The Orville" is the comedian as a director, author and lead actor on board.

In MacFarlane's first directorial work "Ted" (2012) about a vulgar, creaking teddy bear starred among other actress Mila Kunis. She praised MacFarlane's irreverent humor at the ceremony: "Seth's voice among the comedians is an expression of our generation," said Kunis. "Sound and tenor are disrespectful, shocking and funny - he is an exception."

Actor Ted Danson and author Ann Druyan paid tribute to MacFarlane's commitment to the environment. Together with Druyan, he produces the science series "Our Cosmos: The Journey Continues". He also supports Danson's "Oceana" marine conservation organization.

The "Walk of Fame" with more than 2,600 stars honors merit in show business. It runs right through the center of Hollywood.
