From Rome .. Pompeo confirms that the US withdrawal from Syria will actually happen

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo confirmed today from Cairo that the US withdrawal from Syria will indeed take place.

"President Trump's decision to withdraw our troops from Syria has been taken and we will do so," Pompeo told a news conference with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Choukri, without specifying a date or timetable.
