The railway is currently notoriously late, and even flying was not a reliable form of travel this summer. But things can get even worse: there are connections within Europe where passengers can be happy if they ever reach the destination. Where delays and failures are the normal condition.

On the top 1 of the ranking, which has set up the air rights portal Air Help, perched the route Mykonos - London-Gatwick. More than 75 percent of flights from the British's favorite island to their homeland would not be on schedule, the company said. However, this high percentage is not an outlier in the top 50 - the connection from the Spanish Valencia to Dusseldorf in 50th place is still 56.6 percent wrong.

Flights to and from Germany occupy some of the top ranks: those who travel regularly from Frankfurt to Pristina in Kosovo are affected (place 5/70 percent not on schedule). Also associated with annoyance are the routes Rome to Cologne / Bonn (10 / 66.5 percent), Catania on Sicily to Stuttgart (11 / 65.7 percent), Bologna to Berlin (14 / 64.9 percent), Milan to Hamburg (17 / 63.3 percent), Munich to London Luton (22/62 percent), Venice to Dusseldorf (44/57 percent), Frankfurt to Baku (48 / 56.7 percent) and Edinburgh to Hamburg (49/56 , 6 percent).

Passengers in or out of the UK, however, are the ones that hit hardest. 18 of the top 50 flights take off or land at a British airport, predominantly in London. For example, from Mykonos (rank 1), to Bucharest (4), from Venice (6) or Basel (20) - Patience should bring the passengers on these routes.

And there was one more thing to say: anyone flying on Tuesday has the best chance of arriving on time - 78 percent of flights within Europe are on schedule on this weekday. It looks the worst on Sunday, as only 71 percent are not affected by failures or delays.

Air Help is an Internet portal that collects the compensation claims of air passengers for delays and cancellations in return for a commission. For the ranking, the company evaluated how often on which routes within Europe aircraft were more than 15 minutes late or the flight was canceled altogether. Data from authorities, airlines, airports, airport radars and radars as well as ADS-B transponders and aircraft IATA-formatted motion news were analyzed for links between January 1 through October 9, 2018.
