Dubai on Saturday received the Spectrum of the Seas cruise ship with about 4,000 visitors on its first Arabian Gulf voyage from Barcelona.
Equipped with the latest technology, 168,666 tonnes, the vessel is the largest and most advanced vessel to reach the city and is equipped with the most technologically advanced and innovative facilities in the field of marine tourism, including the trampoline jump game using bungee ropes, Virtual reality, flight room and a star observation telescope. He pointed out that the shipyard at Port Rashid receives about half a million visitors annually. It is expected that the number of visitors to Dubai through the port will reach about 725 thousand visitors during the 2018-2019 season, because of Dubai's attractive environment for tourists and investors, depends on the content of innovation in the provision of services, while diversifying the economy and ensure the sustainability of growth.
