Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) won the Princess Haya Award for Special Education at its 7th session in the category of "Community Work - Outstanding Supporter" and was honored as a strategic partner of the award in the presence of Minister of State for Public Education Jameela Bint Salem Musabah Al Muhairi.

On behalf of the Managing Director, HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, the Executive Vice President of the Business Support and Human Resources Sector, Dr. Yousef Al-Akraf, received the award and appreciation certificate and delivered a speech during the ceremony on behalf of the sponsors.

Al Tayer expressed his appreciation to the winners of the award to allow DEWA to be part of the award which recognizes the noble message of those who work in the field of special education and who are exerting double efforts in serving this important group of society. The past years have stimulated excellence, creativity and positive competition between individuals and private care institutions to provide outstanding services in the care of children of concern not only in the UAE but throughout the Arab world.

Al Tayer added: "This award ceremony is particularly important during the Year of Tolerance, which celebrates the diversity of the UAE, one of the most important countries in the integration of stakeholders in the community and achieve happiness in a qualified and flexible environment that gives them the opportunity to unleash their energies and prove their capabilities.
