For a 28-year-old woman and other road users, a risky bike ride on the motorway in Hamburg has gone off lightly. In the night to Saturday the woman had been traveling with her bike on the highway 23 between the junctions Eidelstedt and Halstenbek contrary to the direction in the fast lane, the police said.

In the meantime, the 28-year-old has also changed the tracks and descended to push her bike. Car drivers alerted the police. In Rellingen, the woman was finally taken to a police station.

A first alcohol test gave a value of 1.6 per thousand. "Miraculously," said no accidents, said a police spokeswoman.
