Just two weeks after a joint demonstration by AfD, Pegida and the right-wing populist movement Pro Chemnitz, the first participant comes to court in summary proceedings. On Thursday, a 33-year-old must answer before the Chemnitz district court because of the use of marks of unconstitutional organizations.
As a court spokeswoman announced on Tuesday, the man at the right-wing rally on September 1 in Chemnitz have shown the Hitler salute. The following day, a 34-year-old is in court for the same offense during a demonstration on 27 August. Both defendants come from Chemnitz.
