A woman was shot in the throat during a hunting party, this Sunday afternoon, in the town of Saint-Léger-le-Petit, in the Cher. The vital prognosis of the victim is not engaged.

The tragedy took place this Sunday afternoon, around 15 pm, in the town of Saint-Léger-le-Petit, in Cher (Center-Val de Loire). While a couple was hunting with friends, the man shoots a boar before the bullet ricochets and reaches his wife, reports Republican Berry.

The victim, 47 years old, was a few tens of meters from the shooting area. The ball came to lodge in his throat.

Help came quickly on the scene. The vital prognosis of the hunter's wife was not engaged, this Sunday at the end of the day. Transported to a hospital, the woman will have to undergo surgery to extract the projectile.
