After the riot in the anchor center Bamberg arrest warrants were issued against the four main suspected men. These include, inter alia, on particularly severe arson and attempted manslaughter, as police and prosecutors announced.
According to the police, the men living as refugees at the Anchorage Center attacked security and law enforcement officials and pelted them with paving stones and other objects. A policeman suffered injuries.
After the men retreated into a building, they are also said to have set fire to a flat. Several residents suffered injury from fumes. The accused sit in different pretrial detention centers.
