The Kingdom of Bahrain has decided to stop issuance of entry visas for Qatari nationals except Qatari students studying in the Kingdom and those with valid visas.
On the basis of the statement of the severance of diplomatic relations with the State of Qatar issued on 5 June 2017 and the directives of the Council of Ministers to all ministries and government agencies concerned to take the necessary measures to implement the relevant decisions, the Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced that, The Qatari government is not responsible for hostile actions against the Kingdom of Bahrain, it was decided to stop issuance of entry visas for Qatari nationals, except Qatari students studying in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as those with valid visas, with The brotherly relations between the two brotherly peoples can not be harmed by the irresponsible actions of the Qatari authorities, which do not respect the rights of neighborhood or the principles of international law.
