A woman about one meter long has been frightening a woman in Hesse. The animal hid under the Florstädterin's bed, according to the police.

The woman discovered the reptile on Saturday just before midnight at bedtime in her bedroom, as the authority in Friedberg now announced. While the snake fled under the bed, the woman had dropped an emergency call by phone.

Policemen came to help her. The animal is said to be a non-toxic king python. Where the strangleong came from and how she got into the apartment is still unclear. The officers took her in a cardboard box and brought her to a snake expert.
