A man dubbed "Cupid Chaos" by Valentin Valentine (Valentine) is likely to spend a day behind bars in Ohio, after bringing together several wives at once in different US states.
The man, whose real name is Michael Middleton, 43, from Min County, left a number of broken hearts when he frequented different states and married at least four women.
Mark Jovstein, spokesman for Franklin County Police, said in an e-mail to the German news agency that Middleton was being held without bail.
Middleton was arrested in Ohio last week on the basis of a communiqué received by the authorities in the region. He is scheduled to stand trial for polygamy.
The Franklin County police chief named the man "Cupid Chaos".
The man also faces other charges, including domestic violence and drunk driving.
