Soap & Skin is nominated this year in the categories "Album of the Year" and "Alternative" for the Austrian Music Prize Amadeus; in the first category together with the self-proclaimed "VolksRocknRolla" Andreas Gabalier. The artist therefore withdraws her participation.
Anja Plaschg, as her real name, justified her decision with an Instagram entry. In it she writes: "Knowing me in the same category as well as in the same event with a would-be magnate who knows how to commercialize his reactionary, nationalist, chauvinistic and sexist life concept appeals to me so much that I will not attend the event . "

This has now also the "Amadeus" Gabalier trouble traded. Recently, the Munich carnival company Narhalla was sharply criticized for wanting to honor the musician with the Karl Valentin Order.
