This Portuguese Chardonnay will delight the palate with its aromas, length and estate.

Head to the Douro Valley in Portugal, where the Real companhia velha operates about 750 ha of vines. A large part of them are used to produce the famous port elaborated, among other grape varieties, with touriga nacional. But in some of its areas, this multi-secular society has planted other grape varieties, including Chardonnay.

On the vineyard side, the Real companhia velha is not a juice of the year. It was founded 262 years ago by the Marquis de Pombal, Prime Minister of the Portuguese King Joseph I, who attributed to this company the monopoly of the culture of the Douro vineyards.
