The National Geographic Abu Dhabi Photography Contest has witnessed a significant interaction of young photographers in the Arab world, with more than 40,000 participants entering the competition before closing on June 20.

A selection of pictures of the stories was selected for public viewing. The first story came from Egypt and is narrated by the contestant Ahmed Baadsteh, where he highlights the profession of camel breeders in the Giza area near the pyramids.

The second story, which was shared by Anwar from Morocco, is a traditional exhibition of equestrian shows in Morocco, which takes place during Moroccan cultural festivals and weddings. The third story is taken by Firas from Saudi Arabia, who took a picture of a young man sitting meditating on the roof of his house, using only a small lamp as the sole source of light. Marwan from Egypt only picked up a spontaneous portrait of Egyptian singer Angham as she sang one of her songs on stage.

The "Moments" competition, launched this year under the theme of "Our Arab Tales", is one of the largest photography competitions in the region, attracting more than 220,000 participants from all over the Arab world. The winner of this year's Grand Prix is ​​an exploratory photography trip to Italy, accompanied by National Geographic photography experts for 10 days, along with a $ 10,000 photography prize from Nikon, the longtime partner of the channel in photography .
