In order to motivate young people to read and benefit from the creative experiences of Arab and international writers and authors, the first of its kind in the emirate of Sharjah, Al-Qasba Festival hosted an Arabic poetry workshop by Dubai Buitux, Youth.

The workshop, which was moderated by the Syrian writer and artist Malada Samadi, touched upon the aesthetic dimensions in the literary and poetic texts presented by the participating youth. They reviewed the most important criteria that they adopted in their writing of their creative works, ranging from story to prose to poetry. To overcome traditional and transient, and to employ imagination and scenes intensive in his writings in a way that ensures the arrival of the aesthetic plot of the recipient easily and smoothly.

Smadi said that the workshop seeks to motivate young people to continue to innovate, and to provide all their aesthetics and employ them to come out with a distinguished work, noting that these literary meetings contribute to bridge the bridges of acquaintance and rapprochement between creative youth and allow the exchange of experiences more widely and more closely.

She added that many Arab young people have the ability to write, both in the field of prose or poetry, stories and novels, but few are the initiators to publish and submit to the reader for many reasons, pointing out that the role of the workshop lies in the disclosure of these innovations, and provide these experiences To the readers so that they can taste the beauty in it.

For her part, writer Ola Annan, one of the participants in the workshop, said that writing is a vital area, through which a person can express what is going through his mind in the way and how he sees fit, considering that words can translate a lot of stories and stories that are difficult to speak or explain .
