Since childhood, Larisa Luzhina wanted to become an actress, but she came to the cinema by accident: in the late 1950s she was noticed on one of the Tallinn streets and offered to perform a cameo role of a night cabaret singer in the film “Uninvited Guests”. Already in the next film - “In the rain and in the sun” - Luzhina played the central character. All-Union fame actress gained in 1962, with access to the screens of the military drama "On the seven winds." Among other famous film projects with her participation - "Silence", "Dr. Schlütter", "Vertical", "Heaven with me", "Thus began the legend" and "Secrets of palace coups." She has played in more than 80 films and television series. March 4, People's Artist of the RSFSR celebrates its 80th anniversary.
