The Foundation, which specializes in the promotion and support of media art for children and young people, held its winter camp yesterday at the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, which aims to support the knowledge of children and young people in the film industry and enhance their talents and abilities in the fields of scriptwriting and acting.

The winter camp offered a series of events, interactive workshops and recreational activities for children between the ages of 13 and 18, during which the participants learned the steps of writing the story and the scenario, as well as the different types of roles in acting.

Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qassimi, Director of FAN and the Sharjah International Film Festival, said: "Our winter camp was organized in the framework of providing a cultural educational platform for participants to learn how to write screenplay and transform it into representative scenes in interesting and fun ways. To help them express themselves and meet their passion for discovering the world of filmmaking and its secrets, thus contributing to the creation of a new generation of creative filmmakers and actors who are able to represent their community and homeland in various local and international forums and to transfer their national identity to all parts of the world.
