While processed food prices are rising one after another, Ottogi, following Nongshim and Paldo, announced that from the 10th of next month, the price of ramen products will increase by an average of 11%.

The price increase is based on the sale price at large supermarkets, from 620 won to 716 won for Jin Ramen and 970 won to 1,70 won for Jin Bibim Myeon.

Ottogi explained that a price increase is inevitable as production costs have skyrocketed due to the high exchange rate and rising raw material prices.

It is the first time in a year and two months that Ottogi has raised the price of ramen products since August last year.

Previously, Nongshim and Paldo decided to raise the price of major ramen products.

Nongshim raised the price of ramen by an average of 11.3% from yesterday (15th), and Paldo raised the price of ramen products from 12 brands by an average of 9.8% from next month.
