According to the official website of the People's Government of Meishan City, Sichuan Province, in order to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation between Meishan and all parts of the country, let more people stay in Meishan to buy properties, share the results of Meishan's open development, and promote a virtuous circle and health of the city's real estate industry. To develop, the Meishan Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development took the lead in formulating the "Supporting Policy for Group Purchase of Newly-built Commercial Housing in Meishan Outside the City (Draft for Comment)", which is now open to the public for comments.

The draft for comments pointed out that the group purchase of new commercial housing referred to in this policy refers to the one-time purchase of more than 30 sets of new commercial housing by party and government agencies, enterprises, institutions and social groups outside the city.
In addition to enjoying the existing unified house purchase policy of Meishan City, the main body of group purchases will be given preferential house purchase by the housing and construction department in coordination with real estate development enterprises.
3% of the preferential purchase price for one-time group purchase of more than 30 units, 4% of the preferential purchase price for one-time group purchase of more than 50 units, and 5% of the preferential purchase price for one-time group purchase of more than 100 units.
