KDDI, a major mobile phone company, announced that it had just recovered from a problem with mobile phone calls that had occurred for some users in eastern Japan from 9:00 pm on the 24th.

In addition to KDDI's au, mobile phones such as UQ mobile and povo, which use the same line, could not connect or were difficult to connect.

According to the company, the cause was a failure of the equipment and it was restored before 10:00 pm.

Last month, KDDI experienced a large-scale communication failure that made it difficult to use voice calls and data communications for more than two and a half days nationwide, and received administrative guidance from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
