The Fuzhou Metro's face-sweeping and ride-hailing function was put into trial operation on August 28. Citizens only need to register on the "eFuzhou" APP and self-service kiosks in the station, bind the passenger's face information, and enjoy the convenient service of swiping their faces on the bus.
At present, the full coverage of all stations of the Fuzhou Metro has been achieved. This kind of ride saves time compared to swiping cards and scanning codes.
It is understood that Fuzhou has now built the country's first city-level public service platform for face recognition, and is the first to open the application of facial recognition in Fuzhou Metro.
