In a parking lot on the 5th floor of a large supermarket in Busan, a taxi pierced a wall and fell onto the road, hitting 10 vehicles waiting for a signal, injuring 8 people.



Today (30th) at around 12:30 pm in the parking lot on the 5th floor of Homeplus in Yeonsan-dong, Yeonje-gu, Busan, a taxi suddenly broke through the outer wall of the building and crashed down the road.



The taxi bounced off the other side of the road and landed on vehicles waiting for a signal, then caught on fire.



Thirteen vehicles were damaged in the accident and eight people were injured, including serious injuries.



Police said the number of injured could rise further.



Firefighters arrived and extinguished the fire.



The taxi that crashed on the 5th floor of a hypermarket was in a state where it was hard to recognize the shape.



The scene of the accident was reminiscent of a wreck with a wrecked vehicle, witnesses said.



Police are investigating the exact cause of the accident, including the cause of the fall, against the taxi driver.
