On March 7, the center will mark the 60th anniversary of the creation of the first cosmonaut corps of the USSR, including Yuri Gagarin, Alexei Leonov, German Titov and nine other heroes.

At 14:30 in the lecture hall “Kulibin Pro” the screening of the documentary film of the RTD television channel “Become an Astronaut” will take place.

Sports doctor Irina Zelenkova, aircraft engineer Andrei Sdatchikov, and business management consultant Konstantin Borisov were among those who applied to the cosmonaut corps when Roscosmos announced open recruitment.

The RTD film crew monitored the fate of the candidates and was with them in all trials.

The guests of the lecture will learn about which of them will be able to beat competitors and eventually get the opportunity to fly into orbit.

In April 2019, the RTD channel released a new film, “Become an Astronaut,” about applicants for places in the flight squad.
