Anupam Kher is the recipient of India's two highest state awards - Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan - for his contribution to Indian cinema and art.

In his show, Anupam Kher will talk with representatives of different spheres of Indian society.

Together, they will analyze the challenges facing India today, one of the largest economies in the Global South, and discuss soft power tools and the country's role in advanced technology and innovation.

The program will also introduce viewers to the different nationalities and ethnic groups of India, which has a population of more than 1.4 billion people.

In the first episodes of the program, Kher will interview producer and international Oscar winner Guneet Monga Kapoor, director Madhur Bhandarkar, a major entrepreneur who was included in the list of the 100 most influential people in the world according to Time magazine, Ronnie Screwvala, composer and Oscar winner. M. M. Keeravani, as well as other prominent public figures and cultural representatives.

The program “Talks about Bharat with Anupam Kher” will be broadcast weekly from March 11, 2024 on RT.
