The coach of the national junior team, Qassem Ashour, revealed the inclusion of two closed indoor camps, the first of which will start next week, as part of the final stages of preparing “Al-Abyad” to participate in the ninth Asian Championship hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain from 20 to 31 August, which qualifies for the World Cup. Qassem told "Emirates Today": "The final station of preparing the junior team will be limited to two internal camps, each of which extends for a week, with the first of them starting next week, and followed by the second camp, which will be held a week before the team's travel to Bahrain."

He added: “The team resumed its regular training immediately after the Eid al-Adha holiday in the Maliha Club hall, in which we focused on the physical and skill aspects, to complete the preparation stages in the next two closed camps, focusing more on the technical aspects, with the second camp heading to friendly experiences before Heading to Bahrain, in light of the vigorous contacts by the federation to coordinate with teams from neighboring Arab and Asian countries.

He explained: “18 players from state clubs were invited to join the final preparation stages for the tournament, during which work will be done to raise the fitness rates and the harmony of the players in line with the format of the daily matches in the Asian Groups League in Bahrain, along with the technical plans, especially that Our second group, which includes six teams, includes four teams ranked in the World Cup list, which always record a strong presence, whether in the Asian championships or the World Cup, which are the teams of Qatar, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
