Almost three weeks ago, the season's first World Cup victory came for Sara Hector, seven years after the first.

Today came the 29-year-old's third.

After the first run, she was eight hundredths ahead of the Frenchwoman Tessa Worley.

Instead of taking the lead, the Swede extended the distance and won by 96 percent before Worley.

This was Hector's fourth podium for the season in giant slalom.

Only two Swedes started in Saturday's giant slalom.

Sara Rask, 21, did not advance to the second run.
