On December 19th, the 2021 "Climbing Cup" Qianling Mountain Speed Climbing Competition (Winter Competition) was held in Qianling Mountain Sports Park, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. 70 contestants challenged the "speed climbing" of the highest peak of Qianling Mountain with an altitude of 1,396 meters, "Daluo Ling" ".
At 6:30 in the morning, the contestants set off from Qianling Mountain Sports Park, passing Qianling Lake, Hongfu Temple, Baixiang Peak, Guandao Rock and other places, and finally reached the end of the event, Daluoling.
"Short-distance big climb" is the main feature of the Qianling Mountain Speed Climbing Race. The track is 6.1 kilometers long and the total climb is about 600 meters.
Contestants need to complete the dual challenge of speed and endurance, which requires high levels of professionalism and physical fitness.
After fierce competition, in the end, player Tai Zhengwen won the men's championship in the elite group with 57 minutes and 38 seconds, and player Jiang Dongmei won the championship in the elite women's group with 1 hour and 05 minutes.
This competition is one of the "Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China-"Share the New Era·National Fitness Tour in Guiyang" Mountain Outdoor Sports Series".
