The Disciplinary Committee of the Football Association decided during its meeting yesterday at the Federation’s headquarters in Dubai, to postpone the resolution of the complaint submitted by the Union Club Kalba against the referees committee, and the ruling of the team’s match against Bani Yas Ahmed Issa, within the 19th round of the Arab Gulf League, to its meeting scheduled on Monday Next.

Deputy Chairman of the Committee, spokesperson, Counselor Hamdan Al-Zaiwi, confirmed that Al-Ittihad Kalba Club demanded in his complaint to repeat the match due to the calculation of the match ruling, an incorrect penalty kick for Bani Yas and the expulsion of a player from the Union of Kalba in the match that ended with the loss of the latter 1-2.

Al-Zyoudi said in press statements: “The Disciplinary Committee decided to summon both the referee of the match Ahmed Issa, as well as the video referee Muhammad Obaid Khadim along with a representative of the Referees Committee and the Professional League and the Union of Kalba Club to appear before the committee to hear their statements regarding the complaint submitted by the Union of Kalba.” Al-Zayoudi added that the “Disciplinary Committee asked the Association of Professionals to provide it with the tape of the match.”

Al-Zyoudi continued, “The committee also punished the club supervisor, Union Club Kalba Muhammad Al-Zaabi, by fining him 15 thousand dirhams, and denying him the accompaniment of the team in two matches because of his uttering inappropriate words towards the referee.”

Al-Zayoudi confirmed that "the committee did not receive any complaints from Al Ain Club about the team's match against Al-Jazira in the 19th round of the league."
