Robin Olsen did not start his victory in his new club with a victory. Inter won 2-1 then Romelu Lukaku settled on penalty with just over the quarter left.

Olsen was unlucky on the penalty after being thrown to the right while Lukaku drilled the ball into the opposite corner.

Inters first goal was approved only after video review. It was in the 26th match minute that Lautaro Martinez put in a nick of post. But the referee was quick to blow his pipe for what appeared to be offside. Although, to Olsen's and Cagliari's great regret, the goal was judged to have been added correctly after a few minutes of VAR examination.

Debut after 48 hours

Olsen barely got the chance to get to know his teammates but debuted for Cagliari just 48 hours after he signed on for his new club. As late as Friday, it became clear that Olsen is being loaned from Roma to Cagliari.

There were not many matches for Olsen in Roma last season, while Cagliari was in dire need of a seasoned goalkeeper since regular first guard Alessio Cragno injured his shoulder in the preseason and is still not back.

On Monday, Robin Olsen joins the squad when the national team gathers in Stockholm for the European qualifiers against the Faroe Islands away on Thursday and Norway in Solna on Sunday.
