No information on the assailant's motives

The accused is a Syrian national and was born in 1991, the prosecutor said. According to the information at his disposal, he arrived in France in October 2022 after passing through Italy and Switzerland. He previously lived in Sweden, where he moved in 2013 from Turkey.
