This Sunday, according to the Paris prosecutor's office, the attacker, who injured three people at Lyon station in Paris, left the psychiatric infirmary of the police headquarters to return to police custody. The seriously injured victim remains hospitalized and his vital prognosis is still in jeopardy.

The custody of the 32-year-old man, who injured three people with a knife on Saturday morning at Gare de Lyon in Paris, has resumed after an interruption due to the psychiatric state of the person concerned, said the Paris prosecutor's office Sunday.

Police custody was interrupted on Saturday evening because the behavioral examination revealed “a psychiatric state incompatible with the measure of restraint”. Furthermore, the vital prognosis of the most seriously injured victim "would still be engaged" on Sunday, according to the public prosecutor.
