The Popular Party has sunk its teeth into two of the socialist fiefdoms of its red belt: Móstoles and Leganés. In the first, the popular have been made with 12 councilors, which adding the three of Vox surpass the block of the left (PSOE, 7; More Madrid, 4; and Podemos-IU-AV, 1).
Leganés could also have a new popular mayor, Miguel Ángel Recuenco, who with nine councilors already tastes his victory. To do this, it must join forces with Vox (two councilors) and ULEG (three).
Until the last moment, Alcorcón and Alcalá de Henares were in the air. The balance in both localities opted towards the side of the PP in a very similar way: the popular, with an alliance with Vox, add 14 councilors compared to 13 of the bench of the left. In this way, both Antonio González Terol and Judith Piquet, respectively, could be aldermen.
