According to successive statements of the Jordanian Public Security Directorate's spokesman, Colonel Amer Al-Sartawi, rescue teams were able to retrieve 4 new bodies yesterday, Wednesday, and recorded 3 injuries, the most prominent of which was a baby under one year old.

And government spokesman Faisal al-Shboul previously revealed, in press statements, that "there is information about the presence of 10 people who are still under the rubble, and indications that some of them are alive."

The Jordanian Public Security confirmed that the rescue teams are continuing their work with full force to reach all the besieged, without specifying their number.

Upon his return from an official visit to France, King Abdullah II went to the Crisis Management Center to follow up on rescue efforts in the building, according to a tweet by the Royal Court.

The Public Prosecutor of Amman decided to arrest 3 people in connection with the case, who are one of the heirs of the building owner, the maintenance contractor, and the maintenance technician.

The accused were charged with causing death and injury.
