“On Levanevsky, 18, in a residential building, according to preliminary data, a gas cylinder exploded in one of the apartments. Part of the ceilings between the 1st and 2nd floors collapsed,” he said.

According to Razvozhaev, there was a non-functional room on the ground floor. 

Information about the victims is being clarified, people from the upper floors are being evacuated.

Earlier, rescuers discovered the bodies of two people under the rubble of houses that collapsed as a result of an explosion in Yerevan. Three people were pulled out of the wreckage alive and were hospitalized.

Search and rescue operations continue at the site, and dog handlers are involved. The explosion occurred on the morning of February 5. According to the preliminary version, gas exploded.
