Today, Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces launched air strikes on Gaza City in the center of the Strip, and Khan Yunis in the south, and the Ministry of Health announced that the death toll had risen since the start of the war.

An Al Jazeera correspondent reported that two people were martyred and more than 10 others were injured in Israeli air strikes on the home of the Kali family on Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City at dawn today, and 4 other martyrs were martyred in an Israeli bombing on the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City.

Al Jazeera obtained pictures showing the efforts of the civil defense men to recover the bodies of the victims from the rubble of the destroyed house. The civil defense men said that they were unable to recover all the victims due to a lack of capabilities, and that there were still about 9 people under the rubble, their fate unknown.

In the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, a Palestinian was martyred and others were injured as a result of Israeli bombing.

The Ministry reported that the Israeli occupation committed 10 massacres in the Gaza Strip, killing 82 martyrs and 122 injured during the past 24 hours.

The Ministry stressed that there are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the roads, and the occupation prevents ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.

An infant without a family

In Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, a Palestinian girl is waiting on a bed inside the intermediate care section of the children’s nursery. She has no name, and the fate of her family is unknown.

This 77-day-old baby was born prematurely in Al-Awda Hospital in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, as a result of the martyrdom of her mother, Hanadi Abu Amsha, after she was seriously injured in an Israeli bombing. The baby suffers from a lack of oxygen as a result of the mother’s martyrdom and her birth after her oxygen was cut off in Her mother's womb.

The doctors do not know the fate of the child’s family, and none of them came to check on her throughout her stay in the hospital, according to Al-Hakima Warda Al-Awawda.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced, on Friday evening, the death of 3 children in the Al-Shifa Medical Complex as a result of malnutrition and dehydration. Thus, the death toll from malnutrition and dehydration since the seventh of last October rose to 23 martyrs in the Gaza Strip.
