Lavrov told Blinken that the goals of the special operation in Ukraine would be fulfilled

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Lavrov outlined Russia's principled approaches to Blinken in the light of a special military operation.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed that the goals and objectives of the special operation will be fully implemented.

The Russian Foreign Minister also told the US Secretary of State that the supply of weapons to Ukraine "prolongs the agony of the regime in Kyiv."

He stressed that the Russian Armed Forces during the special operation in Ukraine strictly observe the norms of international law.

The conversation took place at the initiative of Washington.
