The newspaper writes that the American administration began its “diplomatic offensive” immediately after the start of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine. 

This “offensive” consisted of economic pressure and political expulsion. 

However, the material says, after two years of the American anti-Russian campaign, Russia did not find itself isolated, as officials in Washington had hoped.

In addition, in some regions of Asia, Africa and South America, the author emphasizes, Moscow’s influence has greatly increased. 

Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin said that the goals set by Russia’s ill-wishers in terms of its isolation had fallen apart.

As Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted, the number of Vladimir Putin’s foreign contacts demonstrates that the West’s attempts to isolate the country have failed.
