“Taking into account the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not been fighting with their weapons for a long time, we can say that the goal of our Northern Military District to demilitarize Ukraine itself has been fulfilled. Now the militants survive solely on supplies from NATO countries,” he said during a meeting of the UN Security Council.
Earlier, Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev stressed that the goals of the special military operation will be achieved, despite the attempts of the Kyiv regime to intimidate Russian citizens with terrorist attacks and shelling.
Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said in an interview with the American magazine Newsweek that Washington and its satellites, by their refusal to hear and understand Moscow’s key demands, are aggravating the situation in Ukraine.
